Business Description

We act purely in a qualitative fashion on behalf of Owners Corporations and Property Owners to ensure that all facets of their construction project are considered and executed by industry professionals.

Our recommendation is to engage with Valen from an early stage of a project e.g. before anything has started or immediately on receipt of a council control order. The earlier we are involved, the earlier we can put our in-depth knowledge and industry experience to work on your behalf and ensure that the right resources are engaged by the Owners Corporation to set up the Project for long term success. Early engagement with Valen will ensure all steps are performed in the correct order including all considerations relating to the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 in Class 2 (Residential Multi-Unit) Properties.

We break all projects down into 3 simple stages and our fee structures are such that you can engage us for one or all of the stages of work with no obligation to novate us between each stage:
1. Design Coordination & Planning – Competitive Tender for Designers & Engineers, Coordination of All Required Consultants, Quality Assurance of Design Document Sets
2. Tender Management and Analysis – Selection of Industry Specialists (specifically suited to the project scope and scale), Competitive Tender across both qualitative and quantitative criteria, analysis and provision of recommendation to OC.
3. Construction & Head Contract Management – Management of the selected/successful tenderer from site establishment through monthly claim assessments and reporting for the duration of works and finally on to defect management close outs.
